It’s easy for critics to resent a band like Inhaler, with their front man’s famous father, near-instant signing to a major label, and early tours supporting Noel Gallagher. But beyond the whispers of nepotism, the real issue with Inhaler is far simpler: the music, despite their Number 1 album placing for 2021’s debut effort It Won’t Always Be Like This, is plain average. There’s only so far that industry connections can get you, and – with third album Open Wide – Inhaler might have reached their limit…
